Safe Water – Marathi
This Marathi lesson teaches the importance of using safe water and how to obtain it.
Unsafe water can be dangerous as it can cause illness and is particularly harmful to babies and young children.
The lesson teaches the viewer to always get water from a clean, safe source such as a pipe or a pump, rather than an open pool.
If they do not have access to a safe source the viewer is taught how to make their water safe by boiling it to kill off any germs.
They are also shown a simple method of purifying water by letting it stand in a clear bottle or container in sunlight for a couple of days.
The lesson teaches how to store water to ensure it stays safe and clean.
