This Hausa lesson educates the viewer on the importance of breastfeeding.
Breastfeeding is vital in a child’s growth and can help protect them from illness as well as create a bond between a mother and her child.
The lesson teaches mothers how to breastfeed and how often, and also when to start and finish breastfeeding a child.
The viewer is also advised how to breastfeed if they have HIV or TB; alternative methods such as powdered milk are suggested. The main lesson is how important breastfeeding is and how it is the best thing for both the mother and the baby.
